2005 GMC Yukon Denali XL - Slam Dunk!
Bass FuryThere are four Rockford Fosgate T215D4 15" subs in 3.25ft3 ported enclosures tuned to 30Hz. Each subwoofer is in a separate enclosure (31/44" MDF, with lots of corner bracing), with all ports firing together in the center for maximum output. Bynum was not satisfied with the amount of bass in his previous systems, so the goal was to create the maximum SPL possible without creating a "wall" that would block rearward visibility.
Power Slam
Two Rockford Fosgate Power T4001bd mono sub amps power 15" subs at 1-ohm load each, while a Rockford Fosgate T1500.4 4-channel amp handles the speakers up front. Two channels power both front Dynaudio Esotec sets at 2-ohm stereo and two channels power the rear DLS 3-ways at 4-ohm stereo. All amplifiers were securely mounted to the vehicle with 31/44" welded steel tube stock frames using 11/48" x 2" steel bar stock brackets, rivet nuts and machine bolts. Total system power is 9,500 watts at 2/1 ohms.
Bodyguard
There's a lot to protect so Bynum has a Clifford Matrix RSX 3.5 security/remote start system.
The Source
Bynum has every source imaginable: an Eclipse AVN-6600 head unit, iPC-106 iPod adapter, SIR-ECL1 Sirius tuner, BEC-106 rearview camera, Directed DV2602 DVD player, KVH Tracvision A7 satellite system, Microsoft Xbox (original) and of course a Sony PS3. A Clarion MSS-430 is used as the video switching unit with custom switcher modifications.
Up And Frontstage
In the doors are Dynaudio Esotec System 222 and 242. Both mids are in custom fiberglass housing in factory door locations wrapped with black vinyl. Both tweeters were mounted in the A-pillar location, which was modified and wrapped with factory-matched vinyl.
